Replacement P/S 2.64 amp
More power for your I-O

Check out this power supply....Apparently is the same as a Gateway GCT, which works on an I-O. Also check out this guy's other auctions....he has a ton of laptop stuff, not really cheap, but a whole lot of useful things. I saw a Toshiba 1402 cdrom for sale, which works with an I-O.

Ckbone, do you suppose this (50W) power supply is enough power for the IO and the TurboChips we have installed? I think I remember seeing a thread that claimed the Turbochip required 24W. It would be great to cut the cord to the external power supply.

Thanks for the heads up!

Don't think so....The turbochip requires a 12v and a 5v supply....If you could get the correct voltage, I don't think there would be enough amps.

Well, $29 if you want the AC cord (the part that goes from the brick to the wall)...

I got the two I ordered today. They work perfectly....the little right-angle plug is an exact fit. The cord that runs from the unit to the wall is a standard part, used by many electronic devices. Radio Shack also has them about $2. I think this would be a cheap upgrade for anyone trying to power extra fans, cdrom, etc, off the I-Opener's standard power supply. This guy in the original E-Bay link has been auctioning them off in small batches.....keep looking and you might find them for less than the $20 I paid.
