I can't get the mouse to work with my KVM switch. Keyboard works fine, keyboard/mouse works fine when I switch to other CPUs. Tried different cables with no luck. The keyboard/mouse splitter on the IOpener works when directly plugged into a keyboard and mouse but not via the KVM. Stumped!
The KVM is a Linksys mini 4CPU KVM switch. IOpener is V3 w/JailBait.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I assume You are using reversed ports @ the switch.
I could never get a PS/2 mouse to work with a switch.
But a USB Mouse with a PS/2 adaptor seemed like it might.

Ditto, I never got the IOpener working with both Kbd+Mouse through my KVM Switch (Belkin OmniView). I never bothered to diagnose it further, since I have extra mice lying around in my lab.
I'm thinking there's a shared line between Kbd and Mouse (Keyboard Clock to Mouse Clock is my guess), and if this is true, I'm guessing that the IOpener doesn't like that arrangement at all. Other devices take it just fine -- I used the same setup to work a notebook with no problem.

Strange... My i-Opener works fine with an Apex EL-480DT KVM switch. I used to have an Belkin OmniView and I'm pretty sure that it used to work with that also. I've sold the OmniView so I can't verify that it works.
The only thing that I did special was plug the mouse into the keyboard outlet and vice-versa (i.e. the same as when you hook a regular keyboard & mouse to the i-Opener).
