I am wanting to use my IOpener as a video monitor in my van so the kids can watch movies. Looking for suggestions re an adaptor that will be supported; would love a solution that would fit on the SanDisk (but not required); any suggestions?

well since the screen is a DSTN, the image quality for a video will be very poor. If you own an I-opener, you'll notice how the mouse pointer ghosts if it is dragged across the screen. Several people on this board have commented about using the display as a video/DVD player, but frankly the image quality is terrible.

RE:Looking for USB video solution (modified 0 times)
I have a USB video capture and tried it on both my webplayer and iopener. It really sucks. Note that these are running win98 with 64M. I can't get a decent framerate (stock cpus) but haven't applied any of the Lite patches. (to cut down on the OS overhead). I guess one way to see if it would work is to play a game like Doom/Quake and see how the screen refreshes. hmm, I'll try that tonight..
