Info needed on 12" TFT Custom Display unit
Getting close to my wits end...

Ok, What I recently scored on is a Custom made 12" TFT DEMO Video Camcorder display unit. It was disposed of intact during in store remodeling a few months ago with other stuff . Normally absolutely everything gets totally smashed but this item for some reason (Thankfully) was left intact!

I cannot find any info on this asking discreetly the senior folks I know in any of the stores, There is NO manufacture,Model# serial# or other identifying info except inside the generic LCD interface PC board has AD-151PA1 etched on it. Doing a extensive search on the web reveals nothing about this PC board.

What I'm hoping is one KNOWLEGDEABLE COMPUSA person reads this BBS...

The LCD display unit frame is wood overlaid with dark grey formica trim. It used to hang in the Camera/Mini camcorder section. It "LOOKS" just like the one C-USA's had several months ago in their stores...

The unit has an Infrared receiver, 2 VGA connectors, 2 RCA connectors and a digital connector (same style that is on some newer video cards).

What I need to know is Voltage (I believe it's 12VDC center pos) and remote info. (To turn it on!) I'm going to try different codes on a generic programmable remote this weekend....

A lead to spec's on this would be greatly appreciated
Thanks!

Don't know if you'd tried this, but is there an FCC number stamped anywhere on it? I seem to remember someone telling me that if there's an FCC number, you can look it up (possibly on their website) and find out exactly what it is. Heard it when picking through bins of miscellaneous unidentified ISA/PCI cards at computer shows.

Thanks,
There is no FCC # or no other numbers either. No manufacturer. A real puzzle~!
It's Custom made but the LCD may be a module from and early model (Chips dated 1999) panel display.
I've removed the interface board and then the back cover over the LCD to get it's # and tried searching the web using that # with no luck.

Oh well, another thing to add to the great pile....Perhaps I'll find something about it later on down the road.
It's really rather cool unit. Be even cooler if I got it fired up!

Hey o2u2, why not ask Earth LCD? They have a very...very...Knowledgeable staff and can help you track down the mfr by the numbers on the boards.
