I have just completed my conversion of I-Opener to Win2K machine. I am giving this machine to my 70 year old fatherinlaw so he can do some basic emailing and browsing. I could not have gotten this done without all of you who have taken the time to post your tips and experiences here. Thanks.
Just as an FYI. I used the Badflash mod kit (they are great to deal with), loaded a 10 gig drive after a laptop upgrade and 128 meg of memory. Win2k works great. Full audio, screen resolution and USB Home Phone Networking. Also used a USB compact flash to make driver loading etc. easy before I got the networking working.
