Hi !

I just got my first I-Opener. It's a V4. I'm using Badflash.com BIOS. Everything is installed, all drivers are loaded, including the PCI sound one. I have even tried the callwaiting external 56k modem driver from ActionTec.

My modem is always giving me a "No Dialtone" error.

If you have a modem you would be willing to sell me, please let me know. I'm building this I-Opener as an Internet Station for a friend... Without the modem, it's basically useless.

NEVER Do This.....Others have Reported this is Sure Death for this Modem.
Of course, If it is already Dead, You have nothing to lose,
But no one has reported this working.

Hello !

Thanks for your reply. Following previous threads, I know not to try the firmware for the Actiontec. This is not what I did. I've simply tried the drivers. Other had mentionned that they worked. In my case, I still get "No Dialtone". A member of the board has sent me an email to offer me the proper drivers.

The "Standard 56K Modem" driver from Microsoft should work. None of the Actiontec drivers are any good...
