disc boot failure! Why?

New Messagedisc boot failure! Why? (modified 0 times) patcat88

TOday I decied to mod my IO to work with a HD and windows 2k Advanced Server (foundout my Professional somehow got severly scratched while in one of my computers). I formated it fat32 and fdisk it under dos. I made it active and sys'ed. Then booted into my normal Windows 2000 installation and copied the cd to the hard drive from there (on secondary, master, from a lan share). I changed the hd to be the master primary and it booted into dos fine.

Then I connected it into my IO using a badflash cable. I did line up the pin ones and used the 2 connector end properly. The IO Bios detects it, and it spins up. and it reports "disc boot failure". I can't remeber how to get the post screen (I know about the bios). But when I did the bios was dated 3-3-00
