Need Basics

I just purchased an I-opener. I am looking for a link to a How to page or something to help me get started Hacking this thing. I have basic Knowlage of Linux but am not sure where to find this info on this board. Thanks! :o)

1st use the search function on this Forum.
2nd use google.
3rd for dead links use the wayback machine at archive.org. It is a site that has recorded the internet since 1998. That is how deal with the dead links since some PEOPLE think the IO isn't important.

Did a search for tips and came up with this series...this is the last of 7 so read them all (this one links to the previous one etc)

Once you have read all those, then you can search for specific things.

I started working on a site to provide exactly what you are looking for. I got some stuff up there, but just have not had the time to finish it up.
So go a look and see if there is anything that might help you out.

I just posted a sort of how to in the technical area. It had been a long while since I did a hack from the begining and a lot has changes. Let me know if you have any questions.
