Ok, first off I used a nibbler to create the holes in both the EMI shield and the rear housing. I cut the original heatsink in half and just used screws to mount the 5v fan from a Baystack media converter. I was able to find a connector from an industrial PCL controller that fit pins 9 and 10 on the serial just right...but what you cant see is the two UR connectors I used to splice the wires. I took the rear acrylic panel from an old Grid laptop display to mount the hdd to, then used threadlock and some longer stand-offs to give the 12mm, 2gb hdd enough room to clear the CMOS battery. Coupled with teh custom cable and new chip from Jack @ badflash...she is almost ready to go...right now Im just waiting on my Linksys USB ethernet adapter to arrive.
One thing though, will someone please repost a link or tell me the procedure to replace the bmp in the BIOS?
thanks!
