I just got a supply of replacement IOPENER LCD's for those of you who's cat knocked 'em over & broke them. They should be on the my web page by the weekend. $15
@ Badflash... How easy is it to replace the LCD? Just got a used I-opener (and bought a few parts from you last week) and noticed that the LCD seems to have a little burn-in on it. Would like to replace it, but only if it's an easy job. Also, are the replacement LCD's any better quality than the original screens?
It is time consuming and a tedious. There is a funky cable going to it that can be a problem if you don't do it right. If yours is working, don't mess with it.
I miss spoke. Changing the LCD is pretty easy, but I did discover that these LCD's are for the V4, not the V5. The V5's use SHARP LCD's and the connectors are different. I'll have to check my V3 and see what it uses.
