Need help getting middle screws out

New MessageNeed help getting middle screws out (modified 0 times) stylisticnewbie

Im getting ready to get my new( bought in ebay)I-opener open,but having a hard time getting the middle screws out....Have tried a phillips head and flat tip, still no luck, not sure but looks like a star shape for the head of those screws,have anyone else have had the same problems? would appreaciate any help, thanks

if you are talking about the four screws that hold the stand on, they are anti-tamper torx screws.

they are like the screws used on cable boxes and such and have a post in the center to keep a standard torx driver out.

i used a hard fine tip jeweler screwdriver wedged between the center post and two corners.

if you want to get the correct screwdriver bit, they are size T-8, anti-tamper
