For Windows XP users there is a good explanation of the services functions of XP.There are about 89 services available and 35 to 40 of them are automaticly started and you may only need as few as 8 running. Type services.msc in the run box and see. You may be able to free up 12 to 70 megs of RAM. http://blkviper.com has Services 411, which explains all of these services. It can by downloaded in a pdf file to view as it is 24 pages.
