I have a bios chip from badflash with a Wild Pencil 5.31_F4 and had noticed ppl talkin about a 5.40a bios now.. would there be any reason to flash to a higher version? specially since i've never really gotten the iopener to do much.. nor have i used it in a while.. but was thinkin of usin it for a car mp3 project.. its a v5 which seems to make the audio out issue fun..

anywho.. should i upgrade bios's and where would i get my hands on the new one? Thanks

Go with USB speakers.
If you run into USB problems, upgrade the bios. If not, leave it be.
