Problem with HD Cable
No boot when HD is connected

Hi all, I have searched but can't find a tutorial that covers this so I'm assuming I'm doing something silly, can anyone help?

I have an I-Opener, took it apart, put in a new BIOS chip from badflash, all seems well. If I connect a HD using the badflash cable it will not power on at all. The cable I have is the "double-ended" one with a dual connector on one end. Are there some other settings I need to change? I tried disabling the SanDisk in the BIOS, made no difference. Any guidance much appreciated.

Chris.

Stupid stupid stupid... I can't believe the number of times I find the answer on the first search after posting a question... sorry if I wasted anyones time, I wasn't using the middle rows of connectors.

I had the same problem with the bad flash cable. I just didn't push hard enought to engage all the pins

Don't feel too bad.
