Looking for a VGA connector
Looking for a low-profile right-angle HD15 connector

Guys,
I recently bought some used Tyan S2425 mainboards that had their I/O connectors removed (they were used in a network appliance). I have dug up the USB, PS/2 and serial ports, but I can't seem to find anyone that sells a low-profile VGA connector. I thought I found a supplier, but the connectors were the old style, and too long. (the ones I need are about half as long as a "normal" HD15 connector)

However, the connectors I need are common as dirt in modern ATX mainboards, and other boards where space is a premium (the VGA connector has to fit under the printer port). I was hoping someone either had a dead ATX mainboard, or a supply of salvaged connectors? I also need an elevated DB25 printer port connector.

Please contact me at jshamlet<at>hotmail.com. I'd be glad to pay for both the parts and shipping. :)

-Thanks,
radarman

There is a company called L-con ( I think) that sells a nice little low profile VGA. I'll look for my catalog and check this thread later. I also have about 10, 8in. right angle connectors that may be sorta low profile that will need a male/female extension added.

Kludgemeister,
Got the connector yesterday. Thanks :)

BTW - it's a bit long, but it should work with a slight modification to the I/O shield. (That's what dremel tools are for.. ;) It appears that the depth of these connectors isn't standard. I pulled one off a mini-ITX board that got hit by lightning, and it was too shallow! (it still worked, though).
