Calling Orig. IO Hackers, PayPal Class Action Settlement

Hey gang! I have a question for the original I-Opener hackers. I remember reading the first post about the Netpliance I-Opener on Slashdot. This was way back in March of 2000.

There was a large number of hackers who pooled together, formed a mailing list (Yahoo Groups?), set up a PayPal account, and then did a bulk purchase of 100-200pcs of I-Openers.

IIRC, PayPal held our money for no reason when we tried to do a funds transfer to the vendor and we almost lost the I-Openers.

Does anyone have the mailing list archives of this activity? We may be entitled to monetary damages b/c PayPal settled the lawsuit. It could mean 50$ for each of us.

Go to https://www.paypal.com/settlement/ for more information.

Thanks,
Holland.
