Cramfs crash

Dear all,
I following the Iopener M4I version building script, and I rebuild the Glibc for iopener from 2.1.x to 2.2.x, but after I build a new system and boot it, the kernel will stopped at "freeing unused kernel memory 82k", it seem it can't find the cramfs parition, so it can't continue to load /sbin/init!
Do someone have this experience on it?

Second, how to make cramfs boot, I didn't use the build script, I build the image manually, I have a reference page
http://www.ussg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0107.3/0010.html, after I made a root1.img.cram and dd into the 32MB DOM, it can't start to load kernel.

Dear all, I hope someone can discuss to me. Thanks.

I'm confused... Did you try it both with the script and manually? I think the build script puts together several cramfs partitions (3 I think) and sets up the MBR... I've always used the scripts... I've been playing around with customizing Midori, but I'm no Linux expert... I would like to see you succeed though, since I want to try and get Flash 6 going on Midori (even as a standalone without a browser) and it apparently requires the glibc 2.2 upgrade... Let me know if I can help...

Thanks for you first, we can discuss this problem together and we can improve the glibc to 2.2.x.
the simple way is that, I upgraded the glibc to 2.2.x and use the old building script to build a 32MB DOM image, when I dd this image into DOM and put it into iopener and start it, the kernel will stopped at "free unused kernel memory 92k", but the kernel is still alive, it can show what I type through the keyboard and the messages about plugged a USB device. But when I put the DOM, the same system and DOM into a x86 machine, boot from DOM, it's work, it can startup and successfully to run the shell!
It is very different to me for understand what's happen??? That is my problem. I must to found out what going on when the new midori on Iopener.
Later, can I send the DOM image to you and help me to try it?
If you can help me, pls leave you email address, I will send the image to you later.
Thanks for your help first! Thanks.

The sandisk on the IO is only 16MB... So a 32MB image won't work...

Email me and we'll try to figure it out...

I started playing around, and have already gotten glibc-2.2.1 loaded on the IO... Everything is so large, that I had to remove Opera and resize the root partition... the libc-2.2.1.so file is like 5MB when 2.1.3 was 1MB...

And to think I didn't know anything about upgrading libraries this morning!!! Now I'm watching Flash6 player play a file...

For my needs I can use the setup, but I don't know what browser you'll fit in the system with glibc 2.2.1...

How do I make the mouse pointer invisible??????????

Dear, Yes it's only 16MB on IO but we can add a 32MB DOM on it. now I am using a 32MB DOM and 128MB DOM on IO. it's better than use the 16MB. thx

Dear, How can you got the glibc-2.2.1 for IO. can you tell me the URL or send the development kit to me lckdanny@sinaman.com.
