If your in Seattle and live near the Bellevue area...

Vetco surplus has some kool wireless related hardware such as REVERSE rf connectors, some antennas, cables and other stuff!

Yeah, IMHO some items are a little over priced but some good deals do exist!

I picked up a NEW indoor 2.4 Ghz 8 DB gain indoor colinear pole antenna for $49.

Lots of other kool stuff!

Don't know how long the store will last though...Lots of em dropping like flies in that area.

Does the Seattle net do any internal routing ala meshAP? Reading the wiki docs, it sounds like a collection of open APs with a common SSID.

Vetco surplus in Bellevue has gotten a bunch of MC type (Orinco) connectors in recently...They want $7.95 each but I bought 3 for $20.

They are in the process of moving to a new location down the road a bit while remaining open for business.

I just fished another Apple "UFO" out of the trash and extracted the Lucent "WaveLan" silver PC card from it's innards. Flash upgraded the firmware to gold (128 wep). Works real sweet
