I am working on about 3 mesh nodes to put up in 3 locations I have access to. I am testing one right now, and plan to use that setup to duplicate hardware/software for the other locations.
Anyone else interested in a mesh network for Vegas?
I am looking for more locations to place hardware, if you have a good location let me know!
If you have a old PC, I-Opener or WebSurfer we can use for this, let me know.
If you can contribute a little time and put a small antenna on your roof we can have a huge mesh in Vegas!
I am talking about file sharing, chat and other possible uses at 2 to 4 Mbs both ways!
My nodes will have hard drives in them with lots of shared files and a 24hr up/down folder for temporary storage.
I may have some other hardware ideas in the works that will make low cost nodes possible.
