Just for the heck of it I tried the MeshBox build 21 on a GCT, I didn't expect it to work, surprise! It went all the way through to the GUI!

Not expecting it to work, and I am not complaining but the GCT has a touch screen input device built in, that didn't work, and USB keyboard didn't either. The GUI image on the screen is perfect.

I didn't expect a lot of things to work. Check this thread for updates.

A D-Link DSB-650 USB to Ethernet adaptor didn't work, it needs the ADMtek AN986 "Pegasus" USB Ethernet driver. Most GCT's didn't come with built in ethernet so you need a USB adaptor. The stock built in ethernet woud be a realtek RT8139C and would probably work. I have also seen people using the 3com 3c460 USB adaptor with the GCT, not sure what driver that is.

I am more interested in using these as a simple put it up and leave it alone node without GUI, but GUI is nice.

For those who want the details, I just stuck the CF card in a R/W device on another linux box and dd the build image over to of=/dev/hde bs=512 (the CF was assigned hde on this box).

The MeshBox CF image for build 21 is at
