| Considering that my soldering skills are horrible, and my experience lies not in hardware hacking, perhaps something else could be arranged. If anyone has found a 3rd-party flash simm that can be dropped in, I've got an idea that somebody might want to run with. Would anyone be willing to purchase some simms, program them with a linux kernel, and send them out at cost + nominal fee + shipping? For that matter, is there even a way to get a general purpose kernel image put together for this (so if someone wanted to forgo the hard drive and mount root over nfs, they could do so without change)
