I have an idea......
don't most of the Win CE devices have arm processors ? (wince)
If you don't want to install linux than you may be able to lad this up without a major overhaul of the system!!

the big problem here is that the bios, the operating system, and the applications appear to be sitting all on one chip. The onboard IDE/floppy headers don't appear to be enabled. We could theoretically flash the rom chip, but with 1 meg to work with, and not knowing at what point the bios stops and the os begins, it's somewhat of a shot in the dark right now.

unless somebody else can tell me different, we've still got a ways to go before we start deciding the os of choice.
