64MB simms?

New Message64MB simms? (modified 0 times) newell

Just got a couple of 4k refresh double sided 64MB simms in, stuffed one in the (unmodified) webpal ram socket, and booted up. EasyRider GDB stub boot message shows 16MB. Linux kernel boot shows 16MB. I was expecting (maybe incorrectly?) to see 32MB.

Has anyone else tried >16MB simms?

Maybe my simms are single bank, and just happen to have chips on both sides of the simm?

Easy Rider [64MB] ER_NBOARD (Newcom) (bootrom v3.07beta)

Just finished the 4k refresh mod, and my 64MB simms are now detected as 64MB during the Linux kernel boot and at EasyRider GDB boot!
