CompUSA still have em?

New MessageCompUSA still have em? (modified 0 times) El Barto
Hey, I have a stupid question...I'm a CompUSA employee myself (that's all I will say), and I'm not sure if we still carry them...has anyone bought one or heard anything? I wish I would have heard of this hack earlier, damnit...we had about 5 of them sitting at the end of an aisle for the longest damn time...they've recently been replaced with some RCA web TV type thingies...I don't know though.

Are you always this lame? Glad you don't work at customer service. "don't know this, don't know that, can't read any messages here before posting to find out what's going on" WAIT - I DID TALK TO YOU THE OTHER DAY! Are you that sales geek that didn't know anything? I KNOW YOU! Are you the one who told me you didn't have any, but yet three walked out 2 minutes later under someone else's arms because YOU DIDN'T KNOW?

Almost, moron. The bulk of the customers that come into the store are clueless...people looking for parallel to AUDIO CABLE gender changers to hook up speakers to their laptops, people wanting to seriously know the difference between a 6' and a 10' cable, people who don't know the difference between Windows 95 and AGP...IDIOTS. Rarely do I have people who really know what they're talking about. And most of the time (MOST) I am able to help the customers, unless they're looking for some bizarre thing. I'm not incompetant. I know my stuff. But how do you expect me to keep mental tabs of all the ####ing products we sell, their availability, what they exactly do, etc. The guy you dealt with should have checked the computer, or if you were so good, you should have given him the SKU number to look up.

heh, you guys are funny.. first off el barto, i'm by no means a spelling wizz, i don't even like to form propper scentences.. but if you're going to say "I'm not incompetant, I know my stuff" try spelling incompetent correctly!

also, why didn't you just get the SKU number off one of the mirrors of the original add posted on here.. and check the inventory on the computer yourself? you have to acknowledge that too young is kinda right.. i mean if someone caliming to work at redhad posted on slash dot that he was looking to find out what the newest version was, they would flame him to hell.

anyway.. on a side note.. what are the "RCA web TV type thingies" in your store? are they just webtv's? or webtv type thingies?

later

I didn't check the SKU because it was 11PM or 12AM when I posted...long past closing. The website did not bring the Websurfer up...apparently because they took it off. If I were at work, sure I would have checked the computer, I always do. And I'm not sure if the RCA's are WebTVs like the regular WebTV, or if they use another setup, like the Websurfer.
