Internal CompUSA Memo about Websurfers!!

I was at my local CompUSA when I asked about the Websurfers and I was directed to a shelf. There was a demo but no boxes underneath. The tag on the shelf said $49.95. I assumed that they were out of stock, but the sales rep said that they had some in, however they were behind the upgrades counter. I went there to ask if they had any in, and they said yes, but I need to sign a contract first. One of the teenage kids then proceeded to show me the internal memo that was given to them. I saw that there were several on the clipboard so I asked if I could have one to tell my friends so that they don't waste their time. He didn't care and gave me a copy. I hope this helps answer questions about CompUSA's reactions to the recent Websurfer sales.

That memo feels like nazi germany "wheres your papers, you need your papers before we give you anything!". Sign up, go back to get permission, get the once over, check the card, check your ID, make sure you are old enough, strip search, bend over and take it up the ...
Now the confusion is the other way, says nothing about letting them buy one for $200.

I just found out tonight that all of the WebSurfers have been recalled. Yep, I went to CompUSSR (CompUSA) to grab one, and they said that they'd all been recalled by the manufacturer. Wanna know what's worse? I had a chance 2 days ago to buy one, but I didn't have a credit card on me. How do you like them apples... *&!@&^&. And that's all I have to say.

Wanna know what's even ####ing worse? I saw the damn things day in, day out for weeks (I work at CompUSA)...the same 4 units were sitting in the same spot for a long time...I didn't know about the ####ing hack till now. I hate myself, lol :( I even SOLD one to someone like, 2 or 3 weeks ago...STUPID ME!
