We are now taking orders for the new "WS-MOD" mounting bracket kits.

We need your pre-orders to plan how many of these to make.

For more info, see the updated WS page:
http://www.linux-hacker.net/websurfer/ws.html

Or go directly to the order page:

Thanks for supporting this website with your orders, we appreciate it!

What if I want the WS-MOD1 kit but I also want the 40 pin and 2 pin header and resistors, because I want to take adavantage of both the on board IDE and the PCI/ISA slots with my 2.5 inch drive?

And pictures please. I'd like to see how you make room for up to 1.25 inch thickness.

No pictures till we get them back from the metal guy, sorry.

You need to trust Codeman, he does a good job. Sold lots of I-MOD kits without complaints (OK, well few complaints, like shipping delays because of that cable).

If we say you can fit a 1.25" high drive in there, you can count on it. You lose nothing and installation is very, very simple for the 2.5" drive.

Resistors & headers added for the 2.5" kit, I think Codeman could put them in if you don't mind chipping in a extra buck or two. Just ask via e-mail. We figure most people will not be able to solder the SMDs.

Does the WS-MOD Kit 1 still require you tap into the power and get a 44-pin to 40-pin adapter so you can plug the disk into your IDE controller? Or do you have some kinda IDE controller with the 44-pin header on it?

I want a ws-mod kit that will let me easily enable the onboard ide controller. Are you guys going to make one? Or am I just holding my breath?
