Okay... Hauppauge says that you need a 166 MMX and video with "Overlay" mode to run one of these... so... I have a WS, what do you all think? Given how much USB networking sucks ass (i can't transfer large files, but Surfing's fine, and so is 22k real audio... but not 44k stereo)... do you think this thing will work? USB-TV Specifications

Sure, I'll hook up my WSP to my TV, and install a TV Tuner so I can watch TV on the TV. Sounds sorta redundant.

Mr. Pute
It's a fair question due to the fact that a lot of people (including myself) aren't using the WSP on a TV but instead they use it in their cars.

...But with a tv tuner on the WP you can still watch tv in a window like PIP. With a hardware MPEG encoder and a large drive a WP could become a video recorder.
A video in would also be usefull if you were turning your machine into a low cost, video web feed relay, or a TV based video phone.

I don't have any experience with USB TV but I do recall reading something about it on the IO board. The poster said that the frame rates were horrid (about 15 frames per sec). If anyone has actually used a USB TV with a WS or an IO please post your results and opinions.
