Floppy with DiskOnChip and harddrive
Help with harddrive coexist with DiskOnChip

I have the WebSurfer booting MS-DOS from the DiskOnChip. Have all DOS utilities including Linux setup on the DOC. Now adding new harddrive and floppy using a SIIG controller card. The card and BIOS autodetect the harddrive, but I cannot boot the system. Once the harddrive is configured the system wants to boot from it. If I disable the harddrive, I get the DOS from the DOC.
Is there a way to configure the thing to boot the DOC and not the harddrive? I have tried many combinations of BIOS setup, yet to find the magic bullet. Any suggestions?
Otherwise I have to format the hardrive on another PC (the easy solution, the floppy isn't working yet, it was obtained from a swap meet and is suspect).
One more thing, the unit I bought had its DOC damaged in shipping. Anyone will willing to swap a good DOC for their unhacked one?
