Will trade IO for Websurfer

As the subject states, I'm interested in trading my IOpener for a Websurfer Pro. My IOpener is a V4 with the stock Rise CPU and Yamaha sound. I have added the audio out hack and a 2.1 GB IBM 2.5" hard drive. I'm currently running Win98 lite and Winamp with no problems. I'll probably format the HD, though, to avoid any Windows licensing problems. I'll also send along my 40 to 44 pin IDE adapter so you can attach the 2.5" drive to your desktop. Depending on what mods are in the Websurfer, I also have a 10/100 USB ethernet adapter and 4 port USB hub.

I have a 3.5" HD I would like to put in the Websurfer. I would prefer it the have the onboard IDE mod and the onboard ethernet mod. If it doesn't have the ethernet mod, then I will keep the USB ethernet adapter I have for my IO. If you are using an ISA IDE controller, then I will consider that also. I need the modem with the Websurfer. My intentions for the Websurfer are to use my TV for the display, add a HD w/ Win98, and use dial-up or network Internet.

Since my IO includes a HD, costs more to get, has a display, and performs better, some money along with the Websurfer will be required, depending on what mods are already done on the Websurfer.

Let me know what you have and we'll discuss it, none of this is set in stone.

You can email me at joshhighley@hotmail.com

Thanks,

I've had a couple of offers, but nothing definite yet. So, if you are interested in this deal, it's still available.

Let me know at joshhighley@hotmail.com

jeez, I'm filling this thread... Forgot to mention that I'd take a completely unmodded (or close to it) Websurfer Pro instead. I still yearn for the thrill of the hack :)

Again, let me know: joshhighley@hotmail.com
