The Allwell box that was used in this MP3 player project looks the same as the Websurfer. (Allwell also manufactured the
Websurfer.)

Websurfers would be perfect for the setup described in the article. Just add a network card and your ready to go. This is one of the first things I got working with one of my websurfers. I then decided to turn the 2 I have into a router and a webserver. Still working on a php based mp3/divx player. I want to be able to access my entire movie and mp3 collection with the touch of a button. I have it functional, but it just isn't pretty or easy to use yet.

New MessageWebSurfers are usable for that project, but the actual box would be better. (modified 0 times) Svartalf

I happen to have a handful of them that I'm interested in selling. Do a search on eBay for Allwell or WebSurfer if you don't already have either a WebSurfer PRO or an Allwell 1030 in hand and want to do the mentioned project.
