OK, I have 2 problems. The first, I have 1 256mb peice of ram in the websurfer, but windows only reports it as 128, why? Next, when I have it connected to my TV the only resolution I can have is 640x480, but with a monitor it will do 800x600 just fine. Is it possible to do 800x600 on the TV? How the hell does it even know when I have the TV hooked up to it?!?!

As far as the memory goes, there are many different types of memory chip. I have not had this problem with the websurfer, but I believe it is common with the Iopener. Has to do with the size of each chip on the DIMM. It's usually a BIOS limitation. Basically it can only recognize half of the chips on the stick of RAM.

As for the TV issue, I believe tha websurfer has a sense signal that detects when the TV out is active. I have gotten the websurfer to output 800x600 out to the TV, but I don't know why you would want to. 800x600 is barely readable on the TV. Although I guess if you have an HD TV it would be better.

First of all, what operating system are you using? When I had win98se installed it worked at 800x600 with no problem. You might want to check out the technical forum to get the right drivers for your OS.

I am running 98SE, and I got all the correct drivers. 800x600 works fine with a monitor, but wont work when hooked up to the TV. This is driving me crazy!

That would be a limitation of the machine in question. I believe the scanline converter in the Tvia CyberPro 2020 is limited to 640x480. If you're wanting higher resolutions, you may want to work with an external unit (which, of course, at least partially defeats the purpose of using one of these...).

Would you be able to see the increase in resolution? NTSC has 525 lines and PAL has 625 lines (and colour that works - Im british) I suspect the increase in resolution would be lost as the signal is converted to 525 line NTSC so thats why you cant select it.

Months passed, and more orc prisoners were rounded up and placed within the internment camps. As the camps began to overflow, the Alliance was forced to construct new camps in the plains south of the Alterac Mountains. To properly maintain and supply the growing number of camps, King Terenas levied a new tax on the Alliance nations. wow goldwow goldwow goldwow power levelingwow power levelingwow power levelingSilkroad goldThis tax, along with increased political tensions over border disputes, created widespread unrest.
