| I just bought a Coollogic 7200E from a guy on Ebay, that was supposedly "brand new" in box. It wont boot, at all, no display. Turn it on, get a green power LED, the caps, numlock, and scroll lock lights blink on a PS2 keyboard, and that's it. I hooked a PC speaker up to the speaker leads on the motherboard. No POST beeps, no nothing. When I take the RAM out and turn it on, I get continuous long beeps. I tried hooking a PCI video card, no display. I tried plugging in an IDE hard drive (powered by another power supply). When I turned on the other power supply, the HD would not spin UNTIL I turned on the Coollogic. Also, the heat sink and Intel chip near the back of the machine gets warm (not hot) when left on for a few minutes. I've tried re-seating the BIOS and the 32mb DiskOnChip. So the motherboard, IDE connector, and RAM are getting power... But no boot.
Any ideas at all? I feel really ripped off right now, I emailed the seller of this "brand new" thing and he didn't seem concerned that it wouldn't even give me a video display. | |
