| I recently aquired a 266mhz media GX CPU to replace the original 180mhz that was in my websurfer. I put the CPU in, set the jumpers to match, and turned it on. The bios says it is running at exactly 266mhz, 33mhz bus speed X 8 multiplier. After that, when it would normally start booting windows, it just has a blank screen with a cursor blinking in the top left corner. If I replace the old CPU, it runs great still, even OC'd to 266mhz. What is wrong with my new CPU?! | |
