(modified 0 times) Svartalf Profile You'll have no luck unless someone from Nutshell chimes in or you replace the firmware chip with something flashed from Allwell or from a different implementation of the 1030 (Such as the WebPlayer or the Coollogic machines...). It's a firmware based password to keep people from re-purposing the unit amongst other things- we had a couple of the locked down earlier models that were floating loose in the Engineering area when I took over the role of CTO at Coollogic (Yeah, I still AM the CTO there, but we're waiting on funding to be "reborn"- and yes, we ARE going to be reborn as a set-top box company and more...). I ended up reflashing the silly things because they were doorstops with the firmware password- no docs as to what the heck they chose and the people responsible were all gone at that point... 12-14-2005 12:09:54
