Has anyone had any luck using the netgear EA101 USB network adapter ($20 from CC with rebate)? It installed without any problems, and will let me see my network, then it just dies out when I try to copy files, and I lose the network connection. I am running @ 266, 128 MB RAM, Win98SE.

I'm using the Netgear EA101 with Windows 98se with no problems. I haven't transferred huge amounts of data, but I did copy the 16 meg DOC backup image across the network to my main PC. I'm using stock memory and no over-clocking at this point.

I've seen the same behavior (it works for a minute or two, then it just stops talking to the network) on a real Windows98 box (an AST system that uses USB for all expansion ports).
I wonder if CC had some products with bad software? If so, check with Netgear to see if there is an updated driver. If not, then maybe Netgear has some hardware quality problems.
