Parallel Port device that was used to help winamp process Mp3s??????

New MessageParallel Port device that was used to help winamp process Mp3s?????? (modified 0 times) JayDaSinnFeinPimp
I remember seeing one of these a long time ago on Mp3.com.... But i went back there and couldn't find it.... You plugged it into the parallel port and it buffered or something for winamp.... Don't really remember,,, But this could be what could solve slow winamp playback in win 98 etc.... Did I really see a product like this or was it a figment of my imagination.... If you have any info of a product like this please post a link as I cannot find it but I think I remember seeing something like it...

Really, I don't see the issue. I have my WSPro overclocked to 233 and it plays 192k MP3s at 30%cpu using mp3blaster. Get over your Windows thing and put linux on it.

Heck, lets just get over this linux thing and write an OS in assembly that just plays MP3s!

and i agree about the assembly thing.. more power to who ever takes time to write a custom os for this thing. it'd seem more practical to add some programming to QNX though, that start over.. anyone get root access on that yet? anyone know of any mp3 player code that could go into QNX easily?
