Has anyone gotten the built-in IDE to work?
IDE!

I took the time and put pins in the Ion-board IDE header, but it doesn't appear to work. System works fine if you have an add-on IDE controller, but I really want to have the ISA slot for other uses.
I tried switching the unlabelled jumpers to a few settings, but that didn't make a difference.

I was messing with this idea too. There are some resistor pads you need to put 33 ohms on I think.

I've gotten this thing booting Linux, but all I had laying around was SuSE 5.3 (pretty old, kernel 2.0.35).
I tried installing Win95 on it also, but it would crash every time I ran it. One thing I did notice, though, was
the disk-on-chip was detected by msdos FDISK. That irks me.
I've got it plugged into my TV right now, compiling a kernel. I tried finding
motherboard reference material for it also, with no luck. The modem is definately an ArchTek 5634BTS though, if anyone needed that. V90 and X2. Too bad I have to use the ISA port!

Hope to hear good news from someone about the resistors. If not, I'll try picking sokme up and soldering them on tomorrow after work.

Look on a dead hard drive if you have one.
