What Linux distro?
What Linux distro?

New MessageWhat Linux distro? (modified 0 times) kajoob
I don't as of yet have a Websurfer Pro, but after my succesful IO hack, I'm eyeing up the WSP as a nice linux box. Just curious as to what distro you're using and how you're getting it on the harddrive/sandisk (image?) etc. Kind of a lamer question but I don't know too much about this hack yet.

I think I'll try the image for the i-opener that's floating around. It should fit on the disk-on-chip. Slap in an ISA IDE controller and load it from a hard drive. You will probably have to play around w/ the XFree86 configuration to get it to work on a TV. I might add a small drive and load Netscape so my parents can use it as an e-mail/web terminal.

Or load QNX on it when they ship their "free" version.
