Well Im kinda confused also. I just added whats missing. I havnt had time to bring up audio services on any OS.

Its strange why they no loaded a few parts from the standard audio interface. inductor a capacitor and the connectors. I know the Cyrix 5530 only needs a CODEC to decode the audio, U2 AD1819B. The left and right RCA phono jack audio connectors I assume are coming from the video controller since the composite/svideo is coming from the video chip also. So I guess the chip is some kind of full multimedia solution.

So yes ther is some type of audio solution on the board now. I assume its SB16 campatible.
Shrug...

See the pics, the one of the back panel.

To the left side, good "line level" audio out is just like a normal stereo, see the RCA jacks, video out, and L-R audio. S-Video out connector to the left of those.

On the lower right hand corner, three circles are audio in/out connectors that are *not* on the board. By the way, the square one is a ethernet connector, but the controller chip is not there, a SMD large chip!

Those audio connectors would be like a sound card's in/out for a mic and PC speakers.

It looks like someone is working on enabling the sound in / out. Looks like all the parts are on the board except the connectors.

Go get one before they are all gone!
