The only video output I can get from my WSP is TV out, when I connect my computer monitor I get no picture.I got the thing to boot Windows with ISA/IDE card, but can't get anything on my monitor.Didn't work with the monitor even before any mods.Am I missing something?

Thanks.

Is the monitor the only video connection hooked up at the moment? Maybe it won't run the monitor if you still have tv video hooked up.

My TV is in the other room so I haven't tried hooking them both up at the same time. When I tried using the monitor, that was the only thing connected.

I am having the same problem. Video out RCA, but not out VGA. I disconnected the RCA to see if that mattered. It did not. I also played around with the settings in the BIOS for on board video. Nothing helps. Did you ever figure this out?

Not all monitors work with the websurfer. I had two monitors. one worked and the other one didn't when hooked up to the websurfer.

Yeah, well Ive discovered that umm sometimes the VGA chooses not to work. Dont know why, but it worked fine on my monitor for a long time. I tried it again, and black screen. Got pissed and left it alone for awhile and then I tried it again and now it works fine. Again. Go figure.

I noticed that if I boot up with no monitor plugged in, plugging it in later won't work. ie it has to be attached when booting.

I can't offer much help here, other than a couple of observations about the VGA out on this thing..

1) I do not need to plug my monitor in first at all. I can plug it in at any time and it'll work dandy. (note: I can also use composite out at the same time. See note 2)

2) Whether or not composite out will work at all also depeneds on the current screen resolution. For NTSC, this usually means 640*480*24bpp, at 60hz. (Granted, the iBook SE Firewire I had at work would do 800*600*24bpp at 60hz interlaced, but damn that was ugly)

3) Also, disabling multiple monitor support works fine if you don't intend to ever use the composite out feature.

That's my $0.02, good luck!
