I dont know if anyone else reported this. I loaded the ferrite bead and audio connectors on the back. didnt load the capacitor as I dont know the value. It seems to work just fine. After getting the PCI LAN card up and running last night, I had the chance to pull over Netscape, winamp lite and some mp3s.
You could just use a wire or solder blob on the ferrite bead connection.

Maybe I'm just ignorat, but my audio has been working just fine, without tweaking the ferite. Just plug the output to an amp.
myneyme: Not the L/R phono jack pre-installed but the other side on the back. Linein, Lineout, mic in connectors. You can see the circuit is there except for some parts.
