Promise 66 PCI IDE + Stock ISA Modem = Success?
Anyone get this combo to work?

New MessagePromise 66 PCI IDE + Stock ISA Modem = Success? (modified 0 times) Hawk-I
I'm trying to use the stock ISA modem with a Promise 66 PCI IDE controller. Haven't had any luck yet. Anybody get this combo to work? If not, what about using an ISA IDE controller and a Lucent PCI WinModem? Does a WinModem need too much CPU power for the websurfer?

Thanks,
Hawk-I
