Post Your Linux Configuration Here

That'd be nice to start a thread like this, where people can tell how they got certain hardware and such to work within Linux on their WebSurfers. Post your BIOS, kernel, distro, and what you've done.

I have the Materhorn release of the Linux Router Project running on the DOC. Kernel is 2.2.13 . I updated to the newbios so that both the PCI and ISA ports would work. Had to remove the LEDs and the network connectors from the NICs. Mounted them to a piece of PC board and attached them to the websurfer chassis. I used ribbon cable to wire the RJ45 connectors back to the NICs. I had to move a couple diodes and capacitors to the other side of the PCI card so that the cards fit without any stress or contact.

I now have a working gateway with DHCP support for my DSL connection, when it gets hooked up.
