Possible "Future" Replacement Motherboard with Crusoe CPU!

New MessagePossible "Future" Replacement Motherboard with Crusoe CPU! (modified 0 times) Mr. Pute
Take a look at this http://watch.impress.co.jp/pc/docs/article/20000607/taipei09.htm. At the bottom of the page there are a bunch of pics of Crusoe configurations. The first picture in the upper left of the bunch sure as hell looks a lot like the WSP motherboard. You can even make out the DOC connector on the board. Also notice that there are sound and networking headers. I think this is something that should be watched in the coming months. What do you think?

Actually if you check out gctglobal.com (makers of the websurfer hardware), you'll see that they have a 3036N model (the Websurfer is based on a 1030 model), the motherboard you referenced above is the one that's in the 3036N. I know, my companies got one! : )

Oh, yea, and yes, that is a PC104 socket on it. It's also got audio, 10/100 lan, a modem riser, and a TFT connector...
