I will only keep this out there for a couple of weeks. Follow the directions from the MSYS documentation for installation.
The only gotcha is that I wasnt able to get a command line to the linux kernel through plilo so I modified /usr/src/linux/arch/i386/kernel/setup.c with a hardcoded command line (search for the two instances of jcommandline and modify them to suit your needs. My example sets the ethernet IP and attempts to boot using nfsroot)

I can get rid of the command-line patch if I only intend to boot it with loadlin from DOS, right?
