New MessageOnboard IDE, Onboard NIC working, but... (modified 0 times) koulouty
Well, after a ton of time wasted on trying to get the onboard NIC working under win98, I realized that the crystal was soldered on incorrectly. After taking it off, and rotating 90 degrees, all was good.

I am having problems with transfers on my network. Playing an MP3 on server from WS, or on WS from server locks Winamp up, and I can no longer browse the network, or connect to internet. The same happens when I transfer files to and from the WS as well.

I read other posts, and I tried turning IRQ steering off, but the NIC will not work without IRQ steering. I have also disabled USB in bios, but it still has this problem. No IRQs are being shared.

What should I try next?
