thanks to kinky i got my ws working with my isp. i couldn't stand the way it looked on my tv so i decided to salvage the modem for a pc...when i did this i removed all the jumpers for plug and play install...now i've put the modem back in the ws and thought i had the jummpers back right but i have run into a problem. "intializing modem" and "connecting" screens are followed by "starting service" ...the "starting service" screen stays up for a couple of minutes and is followed by a "you have been disconnected" screen. i need to know what the original postion of the jumpers was on the modem card, since this is the only thing i have changed i suspect it is the cause of my disconnects.
