Busker on a Palm Pilot to control a Websurfer....
Is it possible

Busker is an Infrared Palm program to control Winamp.

Sites: http://www.hausofmaus.com/busker.html
http://winamp.com
http://www.palm.com/custsupp/downloads/irenhanc.html

I need some help.

Ok, so all the files are installed and everything has been reset and rebooted. When the time comes for the truth and I try to play winamp with the Palm nothing happens...

Anyone else have this type of problem?
It would be interesting to get Busker to work with winamp.

Currently I have Win95a, I just want the PalmPilot to be the replacement for a monitor and keyboard. I also added a tweak to the windows shell to run Winamp as the shell. Goto C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM.INI edit the "shell=explorer.exe" to "shell=winamp.exe". It takes some experimentation to get it right by moving files. Now Upon startup winamp will always be the shell.

Items needed to try it for yourself: a PalmPilot with infrared capabilities
Busker.prc... for the Palm
Irenhanc.zip... contains the files to update Ir on a Palm
Winamp... along with the "gen_buskerctl.dll" file

Here is a good example of a setup with busker

From the Busker web page:
>Now point the Busker plug-in on
>your PC to point to an IR port
>on the PC and voila

Did you install an IR port on the Websurfer? I'm guessing that you havn't. The Websurfer does have an infared port for the keyboard, but that's only for the keyboard. You will have to install an IR port dongle on the serial port or on that little header on the front left of the motherboard. Exactly how this would be done is not known to me.
