Tips for flashing bios

Hi, I've flashed many a bios in my day using a boot flopy and a bios flashing utility. However i need to flash the bios in my websurfer so I can use my isa slot and my pci slot. I would like some suggestions on how others have acheived this. I have tried hooking up a floppy drive as well as a cdrom drive but neither of these proved successful. I already have linux loaded on my hard drive and have gotten it running on the websurfer so I'd prefer not to have to nuke it if i don't have to. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry if this is a repeat thread but i have been unable to find the anwer to my problem in any of the message boards. I also believe I will need a new copy of the flash utility as well as the new bios itself. Thanks in advance, -peel

I have an old 150MB harddrive that I used to flash the BIOS on the websurfer. From what I remember, I was able to boot from a cdrom drive to install linux, but it has been a while. If you have a cd-burner you should be able to make a bootable CD with the appropriate files.
