New MessageIMPORTANT FLOPPY DRIVE NEWS (modified 0 times) mynnyme
I stumbled upon this irreproducable message:
Upon starting, it said:

Bios RAM checksum error
Detecting floppy drive A:
INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

My configuration was:
CUSA ISA, Maxtor Linux bootable HD, externally powered, BIOS settings: onboard IDE disabled, primary IDE enabled. All ports and CPU sound disabled.
I can't reproduce this.

To finish, this means the BIOS PROBABLY CAN SUPPORT A FLOPPY, contrary to earlier consensus.
